What We Do

We provide support to women and children for their monthly under five clinics in kanakantampa farming block of Chongwe district in collaboration with the Ministry Of Health. We conduct weekly visitation to the children on the streets and provide food for them coupled with our ongoing counsellorship program. We also run a safe house for adopted street children undergoing rehabilitation, counselling and life skills trainings.

For those children who are willing and capable of going back to school, the centre offers education programme for the reformed street kids after rehabilitation.

We aim at constructing a multipurpose hall which will also be used for life skills training programs for the street children and other vulnerable community members. It will also house children under the training programme.

The facility will also service church operations and monthly under five clinic operations which were conducted in temporal shelters.

Our areas of human support

We are involved in five areas of human support which include Health and Nutrition, Agriculture support, provision of Rescue Safe Housing for street children and in Education.

Agriculture

Our main focus under this subhead is to support the Centre with fresh grown vegetables from our land located in Chongwe district in kanakantampa farming block so as to support the nutrition component for our clients. We have a very ambitious programme to support planting of over 10,000 trees countrywide and notably the key element is to seek for effective financing mechanisms to ensuring that this component is more agile as far as climate change interventions are concerned.

Health and Nutrition

In Health we provide monthly under five activities in close collaboration with Ministry of Health, by undertake vaccination activities, conducting HIV AIDS testing and Counseling, Health education and malaria control to support progress towards Universal health coverage and its role in reaching sustainable goal number 3, to ensure healthy lives and wellbeing for all by 2030.

Street Children

Under the safe housing initiative, we conduct weekly outreach activities for the street children and provide them with food, counseling and discipleship. We have a safe home for those adopted and undergoing rehabilitation. We graduate the victims and re integrate them with their families after they have undergone counseling.

We are currently taking care of about 60 vulnerable children amongst which the majority has been referred to us from Zambia Police having recognized our works in this noble cause.

Life skills

The Centre is slowly developing education programming for the children. So far early childhood education is progressing well. The juveniles on the other hand are provided with life skills training such as welding, agriculture and mechanics on referral basis to our partners.

As part of the comprehensive on going activity, the Centre under takes evangelism and spreading of God’s word through discipleship to build character and restore lost values of Christianity. This is a holistic approach which acts as a pivotal point in re integrating them with their families.

Our prime objective is to foster good character traits and instill behavior change amongst peers.

We hold an account with Investrust Zambia Limited Bank at Airport Branch

“During my time at Nsansa, I got to meet incredible kids from Zambia. The opportunities that the leaders at Nsansa are providing for these kids are unbelievable, and God’s work was evident in so many ways. They all expressed one thing to me, and that was the love and respect they have for the leaders/staff members. It was truly a blessing to see what God is doing through each kid and how their lives have changed since being at Nsansa. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Nsansa and the leaders  as they continue to change the lives of kids throughout Zambia” – Colton Sommers from USA 🇺🇸
