Our goals

Our Goals

Our main goal is to lift as many children off the streets and give dem a home and better living standards. We would like to provide more and richer nutritious food for the children at our home, as well as new clothes, books and pens for the school here. Right now, the children share books and pens and do not have chairs or tables, instead they sit on the floor.

Also, we would like to expand our area – both in Lusaka and in Chongwe. This includes new and better buildings for dormitories, class rooms and bathrooms. We currently teach two classes in the same room as the children sleep i Lusaka, which can create confusion when teaching and listening. Our goal is therefore to build a seperate classroom to make the teaching more effective, and then we can bring in more beds in the dormitory to house more street children.

Our goal is also to raise more money for outreach (see Our Programs), as we right now do not have enough for our feeding programs we usually do three times a week in the streets. This means children of the street take more drugs instead of eating real nutritious food. We believe  our feeding program helps many children and distracts them from taking drugs, therefore our goal is to run the feeding program as we used to with better nutritious foods for all.

Our other programs includes discipleship and tree planting in Chongwe area. Discipleship teaches the kids the importance and awareness of God and gives them hope for a better future. Every sunday we have service at our place in Lusaka where children from the streets are invited for service, food, dance and songs – a great day where children at our place can greet their friends from the streets with the blessing of God.

To help our planet from the losing its trees, our tree planting program is set up to plant more trees in Chongwe area. Our goal is to have more forests and to end tree cutting, which is very common in Zambia – if you cut one tree, two should be planted.

“I have known different ministries that work in favour of children. Definitely Nsansa is the ministry that has impacted me the most. Your work, faith and resilience are admirable.  They are a great blessing to so many children.” – Ulises Carrillo, from Mexico 🇲🇽
