A big thank you to Hitachi Construction Company of Zambia for finishing the dormitory structure that will host approximately 32 children from the street! While the structure is complete, there still remains plumbing (see photos of ablution and bole hole) and some electrical work before it is fully functional.

We finally finished the ceiling in the dormitory at Chongwe Base on APRIL 12th 2019. This means we have reached a great milestone and are one step closer until we can invite the children into their new home. Now we need to finalize the building and fill in furniture so it is ready to move in to.
We are so excited for the children to see the final result!
As a sponsor you donate $1 a day, which is paid monthly – that is only $30 a month! This money goes directly to one child specific who will be moved from our base in Lusaka where he has been through basic skills training, so he no longer has trauma but is ready to attend school in Chongwe. The sponsor-money will be used for his education, accommodation at a dormitory, food three times a day and new clothes. With this sponsorship you give a street child the education he needs to achieve his dreams! You not only help one child with education and a hopeful future, but you also free a another street child from the streets as sponsoring one child with education in Chongwe will make room for a another street child at our base in Lusaka! So you actually help two children for only $1 a day.

Thanks to DISA people, for changing the cooking schedule by blessing our ministry with a gas stove. We are so glad knowing that with this stove the meals will be prepared faster than before when we used the firewood!
More than all we thank God for hearing our wish in this area of cooking, and we will keep on praying and believing God will help in the other areas as well. We pray that we find sponsorship for 27 kids who are ready to go to school as they are fully restored and geared for going to Chongwe. We also pray for provision of food and donations for building more buildings for dormitories and class rooms, so we can lift more kids away from the streets and give them a safe home and food.
